About

Exploring Super Candy's Design

Francisco Suarez

Display

Open Source

Super Candy font is a bold display typeface featuring playful retro rounded letterforms. Sweet and nostalgic, this design delivers confectionery aesthetics for candy brands, sweet shops, and dessert marketing. The rounded construction creates sugary softness while retro styling adds vintage candy shop charm. Designers working on candy packaging, sweet shop branding, and dessert products will appreciate the sweet character. Pair with rounded body text.

Super Candy comes from the work of Francisco Suarez. The typeface reflects a focus on typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Display typeface in the Vox-ATypI Graphic classification, Super Candy features tight spacing optimized for large point sizes and exaggerated contrast, weight, or decorative features. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for editorial magazine covers and chapter openers.

Super Candy is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency for both digital and print applications, with 3 font pairings curated. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
