Pelicula font is a handwriting typeface expressing casual character through hand-drawn retro film construction for movie nostalgia aesthetics. The organic letterforms project film warmth suitable for movie branding, film themes, and design projects celebrating pelicula (film in Spanish) typography. Casual hand-drawn retro forms create cinematic presence while film influence adds movie character. Effective for film marketing, movie themes, and cinematic communications.

Pelicula was designed by Jack Kershaw. The typeface demonstrates a commitment to typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Handwriting typeface in the Vox-ATypI Scripts classification, Pelicula features disconnected or loosely connected letterforms and irregular stroke weight from natural hand pressure. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for pull quotes and editorial accent text.

Pelicula is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency for both digital and print applications, with 3 font pairings curated. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
