Patriot Background & Features

Behalf Studio

Sans Serif

Open Source

Patriot Typeface font is a bold geometric grotesk by Behalf Studio that brings creative energy to brand identity systems. This family offers the structural clarity needed for logo design while providing enough personality for complete visual systems. Patriot's geometric foundation ensures clean reproduction across print and digital applications. The creative spirit suits design studios, startups, and cultural institutions seeking typography that feels intentional rather than default. The bold weights work effectively for display purposes while lighter variants handle text requirements. Similar in approach to Futura but with contemporary refinements. Pairs naturally with humanist serifs for added warmth in body text applications.

Patriot was created by Behalf Studio. The typeface shows dedication to typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Sans Serif typeface in the Vox-ATypI Lineal classification, Patriot features no serif extensions on stroke terminals and stroke contrast ranging from monolinear to subtly modulated. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for wayfinding, signage, and information design.

Patriot is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency for both digital and print applications, with 5 curated font pairings available. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
