Heon

Heon font is a geometric display typeface with neon-inspired aesthetics that capture the glow and energy of illuminated signage. The clean geometric construction combined with stylistic choices reminiscent of tube lighting creates instant visual appeal for nightlife and entertainment contexts. This neon display typeface shines in nightclub promotional materials, retro-futuristic gaming graphics, synthwave music artwork, and urban entertainment branding. The letterforms evoke the romance of city nights and vintage signage while maintaining modern usability. Heon appeals to designers creating concert posters, bar and restaurant identities, and 80s-inspired visual projects. The geometric foundation ensures the letterforms remain versatile despite their decorative influence. For effective pairings, combine Heon headlines with a clean geometric sans-serif like Poppins or Montserrat that echoes the structural qualities without competing for attention.

Heon comes from the work of Dae 84. The typeface reflects a focus on typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Display typeface in the Vox-ATypI Graphic classification, Heon features tight spacing optimized for large point sizes and exaggerated contrast, weight, or decorative features. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for editorial magazine covers and chapter openers.

Heon is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency across digital and print workflows, with 3 font pairings curated. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
