Halu

Halu font is a handwriting typeface with relaxed casual letterforms and natural handwritten rhythm. The simple, unpretentious strokes create comfortable familiarity without excessive stylization. This typeface performs well in personal blogs, casual correspondence, journaling applications, and intimate brand communications where authentic human presence matters. The hand-drawn quality feels genuinely personal rather than artificially crafted. Designers creating lifestyle content, personal branding, or informal marketing materials will appreciate Halu's understated warmth. Pairs effectively with clean sans-serifs for balanced casual design systems.

Halu comes from the work of Syaf Rizal. The typeface brings careful attention to typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Handwriting typeface in the Vox-ATypI Scripts classification, Halu features disconnected or loosely connected letterforms and irregular stroke weight from natural hand pressure. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for personal branding and lifestyle blogs.

Halu is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency across digital and print workflows, with 4 curated font pairings available. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
