Open Source

Futida font is a bold display typeface with geometric construction and rough textures designed for powerful, weathered applications. The substantial weight and distressed styling create commanding, authentic typography. This rough geometric bold display typeface excels in authentic brand identities, weathered signage, bold grunge advertising, and applications requiring geometric power with authentic wear. The textures add authenticity. Futida serves designers creating powerful weathered experiences. Pair with clean fonts for contrast.

Futida was designed by Rory Harnden. The typeface shows dedication to typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Display typeface in the Vox-ATypI Graphic classification, Futida features tight spacing optimized for large point sizes and exaggerated contrast, weight, or decorative features. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for event posters and promotional materials.

Futida is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency across digital and print workflows, with 4 curated font pairings available. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
