Departura font is an art-deco geometric grotesk by Nasir Udin with Cyrillic support for sophisticated multilingual display. This clean typeface brings 1930s travel-poster elegance to aviation branding, hospitality design, and vintage-modern hybrid projects. Departura's geometric precision and period character create distinctive headlines for boutique hotels, luxury travel brands, and architectural signage. The Cyrillic support enables Eastern European market reach while maintaining consistent art-deco aesthetic. Particularly effective for departure lounges, transit hubs, and transportation design where the name resonates conceptually. The clean construction ensures readability at both large and medium sizes. Pairs naturally with complementary art-deco serifs for period authenticity or modern sans-serifs for updated elegance.

Departura was crafted by Nasir Udin. The typeface reflects a focus on typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Sans Serif typeface in the Vox-ATypI Lineal classification, Departura features no serif extensions on stroke terminals and stroke contrast ranging from monolinear to subtly modulated. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for corporate identity systems requiring neutrality.

Departura is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency spanning screen and print contexts, with 4 curated font pairings available. Extended language support spanning Cyrillic, Greek, and Latin Extended ensures reliable rendering across global audiences.
