About Corki

Corki Typeface font is a condensed old-style vintage western slab-serif by Typedepot offering Cyrillic support for efficient nostalgic display applications. This comprehensive typeface family delivers narrow proportions with frontier character, suited for western branding, vintage packaging, and editorial design requiring condensed period typography across Russian and Western markets. Corki excels in saloon signage, heritage whiskey labels, and publication headlines where condensed western forms maximize impact. The family coverage enables practical vintage typographic systems. Designers seeking condensed vintage western slab-serifs with Cyrillic will find Corki delivers efficient frontier typography. Pairs effectively with wider sans-serifs for proportion contrast.

Corki comes from the work of Typedepot. The typeface reflects a focus on typographic detail, visible in its letterform construction and optical balance.

As a Slab Serif typeface in the Vox-ATypI Mechanistic classification, Corki features unbracketed or minimally bracketed rectangular serifs and low stroke contrast approaching monolinear weight. These optical characteristics make it well-suited for branding for technology and industrial sectors.

Corki is available in a single weight, offering focused typographic consistency across digital and print workflows, with 3 font pairings curated. Standard Latin character coverage serves the majority of Western typographic workflows.
